Find something you enjoy! I love to fight. So I box and do some MMA training.

If you love what you do, it will become less and less like exercise :)

The right exercise is the one that you will enjoy doing the most. I personally have been enjoying doing different things to change it up. I started out with just walking, and then moved on to swimming. I recently picked up boxing/kickboxing and take some Latin dance and belly dance classes. In Nov. I'm planning on biking for the first time since I was a child and I'm very excited about that!
And at home I do the cardio videos like 30DS and Yoga. I think if I didn't change it up I'd go crazy!

Car broke, so bus to my youngest school, then walk back home 6 miles, sometimes I might jog/walk, depending on my mood and if i like running that day!! xx

Also I have just found spin in the last month, amazing, good cal burner, and no matter how much you go, you will always burn if you listen to the instructor.

Amazon Total body workout, only once a week at the moment as no car and no time, but this is an all over body workout, you get teh same sort of thing on www.bodyrock.tv Zuzanna is amazing, and will show you everything in simple movements xx

I have also just found weights, love them so as I am still learning weights, I am going to body pump now, wow, that honestly works you can feel it the next day, I sooo love that feeling... Hell yeah xxx

I was doing TKD for up to 6 times a week for a year, but then cut down to 2/4 times a week, but no car at the moment, so not getting there much if at all............. Sigh............

I think that is all of it...

ALSO I only started TKD just before my 39th birthday, then loved it and how it make me feel, so have jogged 2 half marathons since and then I got a gym account last October/November...

I love the buzz and getting fit at the same time xxx

I do about an hour on the eliptical, medicine balls (squats, situps), weightlifting, 30 day shred, Y express (Like curves... circuit training)
  • I have an eliptical / recumbent bike in my kitchen (odd place but nevertheless lol). I wear a sauna suit when I am on cardio also.

Mostly I get my work outs from work. I am the manager of a bridal boutique and about 25-30 times a day I carry 2x 50 lb dresses in each hand raised over head, elbows bent LMAO.

I attend hot yoga and I work my rump shaker off on the TRX (my absolute fave for resistence/suspension training)
  • I try and keep things varied.

    Running
    Cycling
    Spinning
    Weight Training
    Boxing
    Zumba
    Aqua Zumba
    Swimming

I've started swimming after every workout because it's great exercise and I find it cools me down well after an intensive session, plus I really enjoy it and find it relaxing. As others have said you need to find out what you enjoy, and I believe that variety is helpful too, although some people prefer to do the same thing. Try out different exercise classes at your local gym or community centre to get a feel for what you like and think works best for you.
