200 lbs to lose

I am new, but in desperate need of losing weight. I just had a reality check when I looked down at my puffy ankles. I have been struggling with my weight for about ten years and it is time to make a change. I am hoping that MFP will be the tool that I have some success with. Wish me luck.

    you have come to the right place, my weight has piled on since having my daughter 6 years ago i thought right i got to sort this out then i came across this site its amazing. ive lost 10lb in 6 weeks. some days are easier than others but you will get through it. feel free to add me as a friend to help and support each other

    Welcome! My reality check was when I had to catch my breath walking from my work parking lot to the front door. MFP has been a big help to me and there are alot people on her to help keep you motivated. you can add me as a friend.

    Started out Sept 13 with 153 to lose. Down 22 lbs. I definitely suggest minimum 64 oz water DAILY!!! And 1500 - 2000 mg sodium intake!!! I had the same problem with swollen ankles. My mom even noticed a couple weeks ago that mine are not swelling. Add me if you would like!

    This! is how i chose to see it too! makes it so much easier not to think of it as much! split it up..make small goals! You can do it! day by day week by week month by month

    I agree...when you think of losing high amounts of weight...it is overwhelming! My OMG moment was when I was tired for no reason ALL the time...drinking water is the key....People make is so complicated...the key is drink water, move more..eat less!:smile: Add me also if you like~

    One day at a time. You'll get there. Please consider taking pics and measurements so you have other feedback options besides that darn scale.

    MFP is a great tool. Without it and my pals, I wouldn't be where I am. Welcome.
