  • Are you eating enough? You can gain weight if you aren't eating enough, because your body stores fat at that point. Are you nursing? If so, you need to actually add 300 calories to whatever MFP tells you and you need to make sure you are eating those calories. If you aren't nursing, what are you doing for exercise? Could you be gaining muscle? I.E. are you lifting weights? Just some thoughts I'm throwing out. :)

    I am 3 weeks postpartum.
My situation is different because I had GD and had to be strict with my diet for the last half of the pregnancy and that made me lose 10 lbs making my total gain about 15-20 lbs and thankfully that weight fell off after delivery.

Walking while pushing a stroller is great. It gives you that added resistance to burn more calories. Eating well balanced meals, little to no desserts and refined sugars. No soft drinks (sugar again).

I am breastfeeding so I still have to watch my foods and beverages because what gives me gas gives the baby gas. No fun because I'm still limited on what I can eat but it helps in the long run.
  • Has your doctor cleared you for exercise and/or dieting? When my sister had her baby the doctor told her to wait 6 weeks before exercising (especially core work).

Also, the pregnancy was 9 months you can't expect to get rid of all the weight in 4 weeks.

I was allowed to workout 4 weeks post baby and I was losing a lb a week. Are you measuring everything? I ate like 1200-1300 cals.
