My 100 day login

I reached my 100 day log in mark over the weekend. I figured this was a good time to reflect on what this means to me and to share my experience with you all.
You can see from my ticker that I haven't lost an incredible amount of weight, especially given the amount of time I have been on this site. This time has not been about losing the weight yet for me. I am glad that I have lost what I have. The past few months have been a time for healing for me.
I know that many of you can relate to having some sort of emotional triggers and outside influences that make it difficult to take that time out for taking care of yourself. I have had so many of those issues over the past few years, that I could no longer function, take care of my family, work my job and take care of myself. My focus the past few months has been to get myself to a better place, where I can handle what is happening in my life and that I can take better care of myself.
I am now to a point where I can focus on weight loss and progress without all of the other distractions and noise in my life, not that they are gone, but they are manageable. I have started to deal with some of the issues that derailed my life and contributed to me allowing myself to get so out of control. I know that without these steps, weight loss wouldn't be successfully maintained, or even sustained. My next 100 days I will focus on the weight itself and look forward to the mini-me inside to break out!

We are similar in weight loss being that in 40 days I've only lost 2 lbs. But I am proud of that as I have worked bloody hard. Like you say it may not be alot but it's more than if we weren't doing anything. But also I can feel my fitness level is so much better. Well done and good luck in the rest of your journey.0

NOT AT ALL! You are averaging about one pound a week, which is RIGHT ON TARGET! Great job! Keep up the good work! You can totally do this. :happy:0 -
