Suggest some of your staples and favorite snacks to me!

    smart pop kettle corn! Can't stop eating it.
  • Staples:
    Brown rice
    dried beans
    fresh veggies/mushrooms
    almond milk (the dark chocolate is off the chain)
    bananas
    lemons
    raw almonds
    frozen berries (for smoothies)
    (just a partial list, of course. Off the top of my head)

    Snacks:
    I don't buy processed snacks, I make all my own or snack on fruit, nuts, raw veggies, etc.

    trader's joe's pizza dough (assuming I'm going there)

    canned low sodium diced tomatoes
    frozen veggies (all kinds, green beans, pepper strips, corn,

    garlic.

  • boneless skinless chicken breast
    Canned beans
    any sale fruit and veggies
    sweet potatoes (just put them right in the oven on the rack and bake until skin pulls loose and it is softer)

    Depends. Last night I had them with burritos. Sometimes I'll just sautee them with onions, peppers, and shredded carrots. With the right seasonings and bit of hot sauce it's darn tasty and very filing.

    EDIT: and chilli of course.

    beans, yogurt, nuts, peanut butter, lots of veggies, fruit, hummus, tons of fish and seafood, ground skinless turkey, organic chicken, organic eggs, organic decaf tea, chicken broth, quinoa, soups and whole wheat stuff. Cheese, but as a condiment not as a protein.
