    ha, we had that when we lived in this one apartment. At first I loved it but grew to hate having it in the closet. I don't know why but I just hated it there after awhile. I was wishing for it to be its own room.

    I have a frind who has that - she loves it. Since my kiddos help with the laundry, I don't think I'd like having them traipsing in and out of my room.

    If you live in a studio apt, you can also have your stove, fridge and bed in that closet!

    Mine are in the bathroom which I love but it would be awesome for them to be in the closet. Note to self for future awesome house.

    Mine is in its own room a few steps from the bedroom and I love it!

    But I would love this set up even more! I seriously wish my closet was this big!!

    Although the idea is nice...what would happen (G...forbid) if the washer started leaking...

    Plus I like having a laundry room with space to hang clothes to dry and iron if needed.

    Yes...I am a guy who takes care of his own laundry.

    I have my laundry room up on the 3rd floor so very similar... no wrestling with laundry baskets up the stairs!

    I get very annoyed when my husband helps out with the laundry - so I yell at him when he does it.

    This is what I thought.....I'd totally use that space for shoes, rather than the washer/dryer.

    i would love it, especially if there was some natural light, say, from a sky-light or something. a fold down ironing board too. heck throw in a futon, a treadmill and a mini fridge for my salads and i might never come out of the closet! (*gasp* LOL that came out funnier than expected...)

    I live in an apartment and the laundry room is in my son's bathroom. I thought that was so weird.

    :laugh: My son does his own laundry and I get on to him if he does mine. I'd rather do mine own.
