Nope, I have found that the protein recommendation that MFP gives is low.

MFPs default setting for protein is 15%. That is absolutely out of whack with my personal eating habits so... my home...goals...change goals...custom ... set protein to something more appropriate for your dietary habits (mine is 35% carb 35% protein and 30% fat)
  • I am always over protein and under carbs, but that's because I'm in the habit after just coming out of a high protein, super low carb diet, which worked for me initially but then plateau'd. So I try to stick with the high protein, low carb way of eating, and probably always will. So I see no problem with you being over in protein.
  • I almost always go over or meet my protein. I weight train 2-3 times a week and was told you need the extra protein for your muscles . Protein refuels and rebuild muscles

Protein is something I am so happy to go over on! Protein, is very good for you. I mean, do not over eat it, but I know it helps with a lot of things. Nails, Hair, skin. I know that I am big on looking at my protein because I suffer from hair loss and with protein I know it will help me improve myself :)
