Romantic porch picnic food ideas--

I am planning a sunset picnic on the little porch off of my boyfriends apartment. Will lay down a blanket and light candles, play some jazz, bottle of wine...

Only one thing missing.

Simple but delicious food. Preferably a main dish and some finger food sides?

I'm think baked chicken kabobs but anyone else's creative ideas are welcomed. :)

    i say a cold cucumber or gazpacho inside bell peppers.

    I love some home made hummus, with veggies and pita.

    However... the garlic might not be so conducive to romance.

    He won't eat hummus, but a similar dish with guacamole instead might be tasty!
