Wii fit Vs Kinect

I have a wii fit and appart from it being an extra expensive pair of scales, i dont think its any good. What was that one dieting rule of only weigh yourself once a week. The wii has a spaz if you dont weigh yourself every day. And its less motivating to see yourself losing lb every few days compared to end of the week when you drop say 5lb. Also the bigger you are, the bigger your little Mii character gets. little things like that are not really all that motivating.
I also have a kinect and this is fantastic. Any of the dance games really are good exercise, you can also get pure workout games which adjust your possition if its a little wrong which i think is AMAZING.
Technology these days, maybe i should just go out for a run and forget all these fittness games.

We also have both, but the only game I have for the Kinect is the Adventures game that came with it.. but I was not able to do a lot of the movements because they wanted me to jump and my ankles are not fans of that... lol so eventually I moved the Kinect to the basement for the kids.. And like you said the Wii fit is just not that motivating.. I like it, but hardly use it and also like you said, it's just an expensive scale.0

I only own Your Shape: Fitness Evolved at the moment but I've heard amazing things about UFC Personal Trainer, Zumba Fitness Party and Dance Central (all for the kinect )
I never get bored with your shape! you can download packs of new workouts from the online xbox store!0 -
I have dance central for kinnect and the biggest loser game. Dance central is amazing, theres gentle songs for the people who are begingers and theres advance songs like soldier boy crank that. Always fun to try I seriously recommend kinect for exercise0

I have a Wii, I have New U fitness first mind body, Yoga and Pilates workout, which is good for toning, and de-stressing.
I have just dance 1 and 2 which are good for doing a workout with out realising it. Wii sports resort for something fun and easy. Wii fit plus which is ok, for certain things, but could be better. And my fitness coach, Dance workout, which is prob the best one I have for the Wii.
I also have an Xobx Kinect. I have Kinect sport, which is something I do with my daughter for fun, but burn cals at the same time.
Kinect adventure, which I find boring and repetitive, but still get a good workout from it
Dance central, which is a "you haven't realised you have worked out, work out"
and The biggest loser Ultimate workout, which is good for logging you day to day workout, and cals, but is only good when you do it with bob, as Jillian I think is a bit annoying.
All in all I prefer the Xbox cos you don't have the controllers, and you actually have to do the moves, unlike the Wii where you don't actually have to move your feet, unless you are on the Wii board, but I find the Wii sometimes does not pick up your movements properly.0
