I need some advice....I have this dull lingering headache that just won't go away...This morning I woke up to go to the gym and felt dizzy so I skipped it and went to sleep. I took Tylenol yesterday but it didn't help. Any suggestion to get rid of this thing? Help me out!!! Please! Thanks!:-)

Caffeine. Have some diet coke or dt dew.... usually is my issue!0

Try maybe a allergy medicine. I sometimes get headaches due to the allergy season, but usually tylenol/ advil helps..
Hope you feel better0 -
Try more water and a scalp/neck massage. I have daily headaches from tension in the back of my head & my neck & shoulders.0

Yes that too!!! I forgot that, if I don't have my coffee, I will get a headache. LOL0 -
How much water are you drinking? Sometimes headaches are a sign of dehydration.0

When I have a headache that won't go away, I take Tylenol too...I'm allergic to Advil. I've heard that Excedrin is very good at relieving headaches too. I also heat a magic bag in the microwave for three minutes and put it around my neck. The heat seems to help. Hope your headache goes away soon.
On a side note a couple of weeks ago, I had two Iced Capp Supremes and ended up with one wicked headache for three days after. I think it was all of the caffeine. I drank lots of water and used the magic bag for that, as well as took Tylenol.0 -
I would say drink more water, get more rest, take some Excedrin Migraine, and/or try some Sinus & Headache medicine.0

It could be as simple as the flu. I wouldn't drink too much caffeine unless your body is used to that. Tons of water and rest, and if it's not gone in a day or two, you may want to check with your doctor.0

Eat some protein and drink a big glass of water, you'll feel better in no time!! :drinker:0

if regular headache medicines aren't working, try a benedryl. only one, otherwise you'll be out for a few hours!! but benedryl works the exact opposite of all the regular meds, but it does the same job. it's all i can take, i promise it works!
good luck! :-)0 -
Quick checklist of some of the causes that I know of (and a fix):
Caffeine withdrawal (have a cup o' joe!)
Not eating enough (review your diet and exercise, make sure you eat back your exercise if you're tracking here, make sure you have it set to as active as you are)
PMS (women only, obviously; Tylenol or, if that doesn't work, Ibuprofen, if that doesn't work, Aleve)
Dehydration (drink more water, if you don't like water or are already drinking a ton, mix in some Gatorade)
Lack of sleep or poor sleep (make sure you're getting enough *good* sleep!)
Too much sleep (but don't overdo it)
Tension (do some Yoga and/or meditation, try to reduce the stress in your life, take some medicine in the meantime)
Some other health issue (if it still doesn't go away after the above, it'd probably be good to talk to a doctor)0
