Well, a visit to my doctor hit it home for me recently.

Five years ago, I lived in NH - alone - and weighed in at 300lbs, honestly, not bad for me. I've always been a heavy guy and I felt pretty good. Since then, I found my wife  - who is a good cook, moved to WA.. now with 2 incomes, more free time.. and the kicker.. a sit-down job. I've ballooned to 401. I was the heaviest I'd ever been in my life and I was disgusted with myself.

I started on a diet, by myself.. cutting my food intake almost in half and switching to diet sodas.. and that knocked off the first 10 pounds very quick. MyFitnessPal.com was suggested to me to keep track of my progress and get support for the rest of my journey.

My goal is 250lbs. I know to some that may seem like alot, but I've been my "ideal" weight of 190 before.. and I looked and felt horrible  . 250 is comfy for my build:wink: .

Well, that's my story, summed up. Good to meet you all!
