I started MFP on June 13, 2011 and lost nearly 18 pounds by the end of August. I credit most of this to the fact that I quit drining soda and replaced my 4-5 bottles of Diet Coke with water and walked 5 miles, 4 times a week. Due to a sudden dealth of my mother in law in late August, I stopped watching my meals and didn't excercise at all. My way of grieving was eating and sleeping. I have put on a little of the weight and need to get it off, plus more. I have decided to take my life back and do what's best for me and MFP is what works for me. I've tried everything under the sun and this is what I need to be a happier, healthier me.

I'd love to have some MFP support to keep me on track and accountable through the holidays (OMG do I love pumpkin pie!).
