When did YOU start seeing results?

I've had a MFP account for about six months now, but I've only started using it regularly since last Thursday. I know I shouldn't be expecting to see results yet, but when did you (anyone who has lost some weight) start seeing results? I don't mean drastic changes. Just little signs here and there that your diet/exercise was working.

After a month; I started to notice that my pants were not as tight in the legs and waist.0
-
my scale showed a difference after a week or two. :-)0
-
For me...it was probably a couple of weeks after I started! :]0

I've been using it for a little over a month and I'm down 14 lbs. The pants that were getting too tight are now comfortable (and the larger ones I bought to replace them are now falling down.) And I started measuring (bust, waist, hips, etc) about two weeks after I started and I've lost at least an inch in each area. I've got a long way to go, but seeing those little changes keeps me motivated.0

When I lost my first five pounds, which was a couple of days ago. I can definitely tell a difference in the size of my thighs and hips, and my stomach looks much flatter.0
-
the scale showed me first then looser pants came at about 2 months for me and getting looser every day.. Different for everyone and depends on how much you need to lose and what your working exercise wise0
-
1st couple of weeks (when I'm consistent) I see a difference on the scale and every 10lb difference translates to a full size on me. 5lbs is definitely noticable and that can happen in 2-3 weeks if I'm super clean and training.0
-
my results= Weight loss in face and weight getting less on the scales.0

With working out (lifting weights and some cardio) and eating lots of healthy proteins & good carbs I was seeing results within 2 weeks. My legs were firmer, and even my skin felt better/firmer all over! Stick with it girl!0

Okay thank you all so much. That's about what I was expecting. I don't own a scale, and I thought about going out and buying one (I'm a college student), but I think I'll just wait until I go home for Thanksgiving to weigh myself. It's not about the numbers for me, I feel like checking my weight would unmotivate me :P0

If I'm really strict on my diet I can usually see results in a couple of days but I also work out like a maniac.0

About a week I noticed results on the scale.
About 2 months to notice a difference in how I felt (not so winded breathing etc)
About a year to notice results in my clothes and people actually noticing the weight loss.0 -
within a couple of days of watching what I ate and cutting sugar, my attitude lifted.0

Joined 9/13.. down 11lbs (as of today). Mainly just keeping to my calorie goal for now.
Started losing 1, 1.5, lbs per week. Really noticed today..216 to 213.5 this morn. Didnt start my weight training in a consistent manner yet. Doing a lot of outside yard work and walk when I have time so that's filling in for now.
Day at a time, you'll see it in a few weeks..0 -
Take your measurements...in just over 60 days I have lost over 12 inches but I forgot to take my measurements until I was about two weeks in. !0
-
Yeah I still have my measurements from the very beginning in May, so I'll measure again probably at Thanksgiving too0
-
It's been 2 weeks tomorrow since I started over again and I've worked out every day and kept my calories under my goal...I've lost both weight and inches! Good luck to you!0
-
Thank you! Good luck to you too0

I didn't notice much difference in my appearance until I lost 20lbs.0

The results were immediate for me.0

If money is the object, then definitely get a tape measure! Measure every 30 days and if you are following your plan you will be waving "bye-bye" to inches each month! My first week I did well, weeks 2 - 3 the loss was insignificant even though I was doing the work WELL. It is just our stubborn bodies and our lack of patience in the beginning. Also the scale can turn on you now and then and might give you a pound now and then for weekly weighers. But by the same token you should see that weight go down, too and take more with it if you are on your plan. But the tape measure NEVER lies!0 -
