When you find out please let me know! I feel your pain. It's as if these last 20 pounds have decided to hang on for their dear life. And saldly, they're currently winning the battle!0

You might actually try eating a bit more, as odd as that sounds. Also, switch up your exercise as well(the activities....challenge your body in different ways).0

I didn't hit a wall until the last 5 or 6. The pounds were dropping at a rate of 1 to 2 a week until about 4 months ago. Since then, it's been a third of a pound this week; a quarter of a pound the next.
Still losing, but just ever so slooooooowly.
Patience is definitely NOT my long suit, but I'm sticking with the program until this last pound and a quarter leaves!0 -
I'm with you on this. I got almost to 100 with out any trouble then the brakes came on and i can't make any progress on that last 20. Tried eating the exercise calories (though i feel stuffed all the time) and that didnt help. Joined a gym and started strength exercises along with upping the ante on cardio. Nothing! Can't drop a pound no matter what I try.0

have you tried having 1 or 2 days a week at a maintance level? I have only 12lbs to go and its been coming off pretty quick. But usually I up my calories on Wednesday and 1 day over the weekend.0

I'm in the same boat. Your body resists losing those last pounds because you're probably now at/close to a healthy weight - once you're there, the rest of the loss is mostly "vanity pounds." You should be really proud of yourself for making it this far.
It's going to be slow going now, but the advice the others gave is good. Don't cut back on your calories too much - I've actually switched to a flat daily allowance of 1400 calories and it's helped me see a bit more progress, but YMMV. Mix up your exercise and make sure you keep on working out regularly. At this point it's more about making small changes and staying committed for the long haul. Whatever you do, don't get discouraged - you'll get there!0
