I don't know... My form is good, but my hands (esp. my right) are killing me.

Instead of putting your weight on your hands try supporting yourself with your forearms and elbows.

Maybe try using push-up stands or dumbbells. They change the awkwardness a lot of people feel in the hands and wrists during planks and push-ups. It can also give you more range of motion if you decide to do the push-ups.

Yeah my issue with the plank is that after a short while my hands and wrists hurt. Sometimes I put a pillow under my hands and that helps a touch.

Make sure you stretch after - or as someone else mentioned use hand weights ( just a different hand position not as hard on the wrist) instead of keeping palms flat - even pilates plank

Sounds like some nerve entrapment of the wrist.

I get that acting up when I ride my bike long distances too, from putting my front weight down on my palms.

Wrist and forearm flexibility exercises and such can help. But can just do your planks, as noted above, on your elbows and avoid the whole issue.

Thanks for all of the suggestions! I found that if I rest my hands on my hand weights and not just my yoga mat, that it helps. =D

Yes yes, I love my username, too. ;p
