Anyone exercising and gaining weight?

Hi! I am a new poster.... I am getting super frustrated. I have been doing bootcamp(military style fitness) for about 3 months now. I have gained 7 pounds. Has this happened to anyone else? I stay in my calorie range 99% of the time. I know I am gaining muscle but my clothes are tighter... I am trying to not get frustrated and stop.

    that can happen. muscle gain, water weight before fat loss, or i'm sure other reasons. give it time. ;)

    yo yo. yup. i gained 10 pounds the other week from starting to exercise.

    wait 4 weeks.. then see what happens. scales suck :D
  • I've had pretty much the same problem over the past six months or so... Run and work out on the elliptical like crazy and I have gained a couple pounds. My clothes are also tighter, but I'm pretty sure it's just because my thighs are getting bigger with all the muscle I'm building up... on the rest of my body I see no difference though. I don't feel like I'm losing fat really... just building muscle under the fat >.<
