Has to be the best work out. I do it 6 times a week. It's a bit tricky at first, but don't give up! It took me about 2 months to get down the signals, ques, and moves. I'm not a pro by any means but I can keep up with the class now. I used to go once a week, and now I can't stop. Find an instructor you love... and stick with it!

I used to instruct at 24 hour Fitness and Turbo kick is the SAME from club to club. Reason being, is that if you went to one in LA, then one in SF, the continuity is the same and you keep the same workout.

As a kickboxing instructor, it's too "dancey" for me to do. I prefer combinations that you can throw with higher intensity. I was offered to instruct Turbo Kick, but turned it down because I didn't care to teach their choreography.

I love the class. I've been going for about a month.. once a week. I have a polar heart monitor and I burn about 500 calories in 60 minutes.

I am a Turbo Kick instructor, and no, it does not have to be at 24 Hour Fitness. We don't even have one around my area, lol.

The great thing about TK is, you can make it as dancey as you want, or as athletic as you want. I find that the choreography per round is just a guideline, and that it's great to mix things up depending on who is taking the class. I personally prefer the more athletic version. And there's nothing better than challenging yourself to push as hard as you can during the turbo. Other kickboxing classes just don't have anything like it.

You can take the class to become an instructor, but you don't have to teach...you get the rounds on DVD sent to you and can actually just do them as home workouts if you like. I like to use the DVDs on days that I don't want to go to the gym to get my cardio.
