Hey Everybody,
Three months ago (about when I started running) I could only manage 3k in the embarassing time of 27:51
After cold early mornings, aching limbs and pure determination of running 3 times a week ..... I managed this...
TODAY I DID 5K IN 26:35 , This is pretty good for a 230lbs guy right?!
(by the way this couldn't of been achieved without the Couch - 5k app!)

That is awesome. I did my best 5K time yesterday on my 10 mile run and it was 31:41. Given that I started walking the first 5 minutes to warm up, I am very happy and think I can break into the high 20s if I concentrated on just a 5K. Good results for you though, and weight has nothing to do with it. That time is good for a 150# person.0

You will be able to, I could at beginning of week 9 so just left it there and since been doing 5k 3 times a week, stick to it, it really pays off!0 -
