No diet foods and I was sick so I didn't really exercise. I just stayed at my calorie range by eating what I normally eat in smaller portions and I lost 1.8lbs in a week!!

What are diet foods? Prepackaged diet meals like Lean Cuisine or Healthy Choice? I don't know how anyone stays full on those things.

Congratualations!! This is what I do all the time. I feel like I live in the real world...and do not want to eat "diet" or sugar free foods. That would mean I buy "special" foods for me all the time and I don't want that. I eat natural foods...foods my body knows what they are...and what to do with them..... I eat a little less....but my body thanks me by letting go of the weight. Good job and good luck!:flowerforyou:
  • I tried eating Lean Cuisines for a while and stayed hungry... I don't buy them anymore.

I'm not really keen on diet foods like "healthy eating" versions. They're not always necessary the best option to get I have found, e.g. if I would buy a ready made meal lasagne (rare thing these days) I would look to see what version is the best nutritionally, it's not always the "healthy eating" ones that are the best plus they are usually a lot smaller in size and not as filling so you'd probably find yourself snacking afterwards to fill yourself up. I found that with my food, I reduce my portion sizes and continue eating what I enjoy but include a lot more fruit and veg etc cos I would go totally bonkers if I lived off rabbit food 24/7!
