36 X's for me. I couldn't believe how many were on the list I haven't even heard of!

I am glad to see my favorite author on there twice: Thomas Hardy. Is anybody else a fan of his work or other similar Victorian writers?

BTW- It's really funny to me that MFP censors Charles ****ens name in the list.. lol Taking it a bit far eh?

I have to say I've read most of them but I'm not going to look at the list too hard because sitting down and munching when reading a book got me where I am:embarassed: .

At least 13 for me. Some I was supposed to read in high school but don't know that I actually did. I'm going to print out the list though and get some of the classics that I haven't read. I'm surprised To Kill a Mockingbird isn't on the list.

Oh never mind, it is. :embarassed:

Looks like 24. I have an MA in English and many were required rdg over the years. But i'm also surprised by how many titles i've never heard and how many were not included--like DH Lawrence, Wally Lamb, Adv of Huck Finn and Tom Sawyer, Zora Neale Hurston and other Af-Am writers.
    Interesting...thanks for the fun game!
