I started trying to lose weight late last year after I lost a baby. It was a really rough time in my life because we had already decided not to have any more children and I sent my husband to get the "snip snip". Four days later I found out I was pregnant. It took a little bit to get used to the idea but I ended up excited and my kids were super excited also (they were 8 and 9). I ended up losing the baby at about 13 weeks. It was devastating not only for me but for my girls. I gained weight and got up to about 234. I decided to change my life and started training for a 5K. The first pic was when I got down to about 220. Right before the 5K in May of this year, I got all of the way down to 205. I ran and completed the race, got shin splints and gave up. The weight started creeping back up but now I am back on track! I am down to ALMOST 200 lbs and I can't wait to never be in the 200's again! BTW...I am hoping to do the 10K this May!
