Blendtec or Vita-mix... opinions?

I'm looking into getting either a Blendtec or a Vita-Mix blender. Both look pretty amazing... anyone have any experience with either machine? I can't decide!

    I've never heard of the Blentec, but I just got the Vitamix and LOVE it. It's the most amazing blender EVER! I even made soup in it!!! The cheapest we found it was through QVC. Good luck!

    Bump. My sister has the Vita-mix and LOVES it!! But the Blendtec looks awesome too. I would like to hear opinions about these too.

    Oh, and you can get the Vitamix at Costco I think once a year they do the promotion thing. Good luck!

    I LOVE my Vita-Mix. I drink shakes every day and I can add all sorts of healthy stuff and never know. I routinely do one with yogurt, pineapple, half banana, spinach, and carrots. Yummy. Also, it can warm pureed soups and grind wheat berries for flour. We got ours 2 years ago and have used it nearly every day.
