Hey Guys,
So, I life MFP for awhile and of course, I gained some weight back. I am very upset at my gains but being upset will not help me lose it again. I was wondering if you could support me, and any people who have gained a flat belly, please friend request me because I am in need of support to finish losing this last 12 pounds (would be less if I did not gain). Anyways, does anyone have any suggestions about losing leftover body fat, in particular upper thighs or belly. Also, what is most important to delete from my diet to lose fat? Fat, carbs, sugars etc? Thanks for the support MFP buddies

Its been said that carbs lead to bigger bellies, but I don't think there's anything proven about it. It sucks, I want the magic answer to belly flub too because it's my least favorite part of me! However, that said, watching added sugars is ALWAYS a good idea, as is leaner cuts of meat and low/nonfat dairy, IMO.
I'm right there with you with relapsing! I've had some teeth issues that have prevented me from running (too painful in my mouth every time I hit the ground with my foot) and I gained about 10lbs. I have lost 5 of them though, so moving in the right direction!
You CAN do this, you WILL do this. It's a process, just like everything else. Just make sure the good days outweigh the bad!0 -
Hi there!!
I know exactly what you're going through as today is my DAY 1 out of my relapse zone... I got so bad, eating anything bad that I could possibly think of ... I've gained about 7-10 pounds and I'm just unhappy and am becoming lazy ... I can't let that happen, and I want you to feel the same way!
Its truly all about eating clean foods, nothing overly processed (preferably not at all) and STAY away from added sugars ... Load up on veggies and maybe keep your fruits to the beginning portion of the day so that your body has all day to burn off those sugars ....
Where do you think you are going wrong? I have gained weight in my upper thighs, butt and belly ... I'm not happy with it and really want to work hard at changing my lifestyle ... But I need support just like the rest of us!0 -
I am with you, I did the same thing and gained almost 20 lbs after losing 30. I am back, friend me if you want. This time I am here for good.0

I think that my problem is really the amount of time I have now compared to when I originally lost the weight. I feel like its a time consuming thing to exercise but if I don't, i know the outcome. Its such a hard thing to balance. Its all in the belly.0

I need to get out of the office at lunch and I walk just over a mile in about 20 minutes or so. Get out and do that if you can. I am in Canada so it is starting to get cold but getting out every day at lunch feels a lot better than sitting at my desk.
I would definitely suggest that to get started.0
