Hello, 36 here. Started to gain a few pounds and want to eat better and do some light exercise to get in shape. Going to plan on a baby soon and want to be healthy for that!!!

Hi! Welcome I'm 37 years old and after a crappy visit to the Emergency room b/f of my blood pressure...seeing overweight Moms being pushed in wheelchairs by their kids- I soooo snapped into " Holy crap-I don't want my daughter to deal with this!" Plus the fact, one day she asked me "Why do you have to go to so many doctor's Mama"(She is only 6-I almost cried!) And so- with help from my sister-I saw a nutritionist , and I've been going strong since August 20 ! I've lost 15 lbs-It is slow- I'm working out though and I feel great- myfitnesspal has helped me keep my choices accountable ! I choose protein FIRST -it works for me!
