Not good enough!

I am starting my 8th week of boot camp this week, and I surely thought I would see the weight just fall off. NOT HAPPENING! I have lost 6lbs, but my weight fluctuates quite a bit. There could be a 4lb difference from one day to the next! I know I shouldn't weigh myself daily, but I think it helps to keep me from snacking.
I have lost 2 inches in my waist, and everyone tells me I look much better, but my clothes fit the same! I'm wondering where I look so great at.
I ordered the CHA LEAN workout videos, and after seeing the posts saying it's a slow workout, I'm not sure if it will work since I've been attending these boot camp workout classes. Any advice, whether it be for workouts or diet ,would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks so much!
*Forgot to note that I lost the 6lbs in the first 2 weeks, and nothing since!!

I totally feel you. I used to lose and gain 8 pounds - the more I worked out, the bigger the gap became. It boiled down to a couple of things, which have since been rectified thanks to this site.
Water weight - I began to weigh myself only once a week and never right before or during my period.
Eat, eat, eat.....boot camp is difficult. If you do not have a heart rate monitor, I would suggest you get one so you can see how many calories you are burning. It may be that you are not eating enough.
How many times do you attend boot camp each week? What do they have you doing, exactly? What do you do with your exercise calories? How do you calculate them and what do you do with them?
It is important to keep your heart rate up....at least between 144 and 155 minimum for about an hour, at least three or four times per week.0 -
I just bought a HRM yesterday. I will definitely be wearing it tomorrow for class. I go 3x a week. Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. The class is different every time. One day he'll have us pulling tires, the next we'll be running. On Mondays we do upper body, Wednesdays back, and Friday is leg day. Each class has abs. Luckily he saves leg day for Friday, because we need that break after doing so many lunges and squats!
I guess you've found my problem, because I never count my exercise calories. The only reason I started using this site is because he wants a print out of our meals. He checks everything, and punishes us for messing up! No fun.
I won't be attending after next week, due to the cost of the class, so I'm hoping CHA LEAN will take the place of boot camp. Anyone have any personal experience with these videos?
Thanks for your advice, Firewalking.0 -
Hi!
I don't have experience with CHALEAN, but I have done three rounds of P90X (both programs are made by Beachbody). I'm a Beachbody coach, so send me a message if you have questions. I have gotten incredible results, and I like to pay it forward! Let me know if I can help!
