Here's some ideas:
Eat some lean protein
eat some veggies or fruit.
also drinking water can help.
Brush your teeth
go for a walk
get busy doing something with your hands that takes concentration
go to sleep0 -

Totally been there! My advice:
1) Drink tea - I don't know why it helps but drinking tea helps curb my cravings.
2) Go work out! - exercise always suppresses my appetite and takes my mind off it
3) Go out with some friends, read a book, or do anything to keep yourself busy!
4) Eat some protein! Half the time when you're craving carbs, your body might actually just want some protein. I like scrambled eggs, hummus and carrots, or cottage cheese for a quick snack.
Don't panic and stay strong!!I know you can do it!

yeah i know! if only i would feel bad while wanting to binge rather then after!0 -
You can do this! Don't give in if you're gonna regret it later. Take a hot bath, read a book, just find something that can distrct you.0

I know. Feeling like that tonight as well. Had all my calories and still could eat a full meal. Hang in there, sister. We can do this. Drink a giant glass of water with lemon in it, eat some cucumbers or tomatoes, they're almost zero calories.0

Are you really even hungry? I just got done eating a homemade grilled burger with fries and there are two more burger patties in there and I REALLY want to eat another because they were SOOOO good, but I'm not even hungry still. I've actually been sitting here having a mental conversation with myself trying to talk myself out of eating it. In the mean time, I'm drinking water, I put the leftovers away (not as tempting if they're cold), and I'm getting ready to run my MFP reports to take to my trainer on Saturday - I doubt she'd be too happy if she saw that I ate 2 burgers...0

Agree....don't do it! I just ate 5 chocolate chip cookies that I had hidden (well, I guess they weren't hidden if I knew where they were) in the freezer! My stomach is not feeling so good now. If I didn't hate throwing up, I would stick my finger down my throat. (Never could figure out how bulemics could do it). Hang in there....the feeling will pass!0

i don't think i'm even really hungry, i just wanna eat and i don't know why. maybe i'm bored or my body is just craving something but i don't know what that something is. but i know better then to just go around eating foods til my body is satisfied..0 -
This was a really good thread to get ideas on how to curb the binge craving. I hate it so much when I get that once in a while feeling to just go through a whole box of cookies. As bad as it sounds I am glad I am not the only one who could demolish a huge amount of food! I find that going for a walk and drinking a ton of water gets rid of the craving! The water fills me up and then of course walking burns calories so you're at a win-win!!! Stay strong!0

I should have come here last night and read some of the suggestions in these posts and I think I might have got over my binge. Feeling yucky this morning but I'm NOT going back to my old way of eating. In the past after binge eating I would go through all kinds of emotions including: anger, depression, etc. Today is a new day, I'm focused again and I'm going to forget about that silly binge last night.0
