I have always been a sugar Junkie, to the point where I got the shakes and turn into a complete *kitten* if I didn't get any!!
I joined this back in march I think but never used the app.

I started using it properly in July of this year and I lost 14lbs over 2 months. Then I fell off the wagon and binged and gained 12lbs in three weeks. I ate nothing but sugar. I didn't track my food. I was away as well do over indulged.

I went to a dietician two weeks ago and she confirmed that yes I am a sugar junkie so I'm on a food plan for a month where all refined sugars and most carbs are cut out. Then I'll slowly reintroduce those foods in so I'm not dependent on them.

Today I made a chocolate birthday cake for my boyfriend. I ate a slice and now feel physically sick. It's only been 11 days but I'm shocked because before this I would have eaten the entire cake!!

So for all you sugar Junkies! There is hope

This describes me as well. Paleo stopped the sugar dependence for me. :)

You sound a lot like me. I didn't eat a whole lot of sweets, but I craved a lot of starchy carbs and would experience ravenous hunger when (I suspect) my blood sugar plummeted after the "high." Through trial and error I've realized that I need to really watch my sugar and starchy carbohydrates (even whole grains). I feel a LOT more stable throughout the day now and I don't get "hangry" (hungry + angry) anymore.

I am the same way. I am meeting with a dietician some time next week. I already told her I have a major sugar problem. I am trying to get it undercontrol but so far its not working on my own so I am seeking help.

    Any suggestions?
