Hi I need help to keep on track, just quit smoking now need to slow down the booze. please help... :)

    Request sent. Just cut my drinking back drastically over the past few months. I was at drinking about 8 days a week.

    Hate to sound like Smokie the Bear here but "Only you..."

    I am a former smoker and no matter how much I had others telling me to quit, I couldn't make a real effort until I was ready to quit. Quitting smoking takes a lot of discipline and determination and perhaps a failure or three to finally get there.

    As far as drinking, I enjoy beer. I drink one or two several days a week and sometimes more on the weekend and that hasn't hindered my weight loss because I allow for those calories with exercise or by cutting out food or opting for lower calorie beers.

    Good luck! If you fall, get back up on that horse and try gain!!!
