lol ive been wanting to make one of these for years, but never really had the opportunity to.. we dont do a lot of entertaining and it seems silly to make a cake that size for two adults and two young kids lol i love the idea though!0

My daughter would love this! What's in it?0

just.
NO.
:sick:0 -
Eeck, this looks just like my kittie's catbox! No way could I eat this. What is it anyway?0
-
I would like to see someone try to eat that! I would have a hard time doing it myself! LOL.
I wonder if the cat would confuse this with his own box, if for some reason it got left on the floor. Hmmmm. And, that being said, would a two-year old confuse the kitty litter cake with the cat litter box after a cake like this? -- Sorry, I just couldn't resist contemplating!!0 -
If I didn't have cats, I would probably eat it, but it's just way too familiar.
Good job on the realism!0 -

LOL - it IS nasty looking, but, honestly, it's REALLY tasty cake! I think picking off the "poop" makes it more edible! It's a white cake and chocolate cake baked and crumbled with vanilla pudding. Then you put a package of vanilla sandwhich cookies in the food processor (blender, in my case) and crush them very fine. Set a few aside and add green food coloring for the litter look. Mix half of the cookie crumbs in with the cake and pudding. Then press the mixture in the bottom of a pan, or for the authentic look, the cat box. Sprinkle the rest of the cookie crumbs on top, then the green crumbs. Melt tootsie rolls and shape them - put them throughout. Bury them, scrape them in the cookies, cover them, etc.

Heheh - it does seem to be much harder for cat owners!0 -
Oh my land! Eww eww eww eww!!! I have two cats and there's no way I could bring myself to eat that.  :laugh:0

Now all you need is a clean potty chair and serve lemonade out of it
(been there, drank that )
and I can personally testify- this is one of the best tasting cakes I ever had-0 -

OOOh, that's an exceptional idea! lol And, yes, it really IS tasty! REALLY! Once you get past the appearance! I can't wait to debut it!0 -
Okay so that is just sick, but in looking at the recipe it would certainly taste good!:laugh:0

Just wanted to update that it looked so real no one touched it! LOL Well, except the morning after the party when I walked out of the bathroom to find the boyfriend leaning over the counter eating it out of the litter box with a fork - that was a touch disturbing so early in the morning!0
-
Do not want. It probably tastes good, but that is a little too realistic.0

Lol, that's the problem, it does! It does taste super good, actually. But, sadly, I threw most of it away cuz I surely didn't want to eat 2 cakes, pudding, and cookies!0 -

Poop...duh!!0 -
Just don't leave it out on the counter overnight if you have cats...0
