Question about food......

Okay so I'm just doing a basic calorie diet. Doing about 30 min. of cardio in the morning. Ive been watching my food and portion control and all that but I always have about 500-700 calories I have to eat after dinner. I don't want to get into making or eating a whole bunch so Ive been eating a bowl of multi grain cheerios and some chips to make up the difference. Should I stay away from chips all together or is it okay as long as it fits into my calories?

I would try something less process, like yogurt or add more cals during day somehow. Do you like protein shakes?0

Quality counts. Chips ok every now and then, but I wouldn't use chips to add cals on a regular basis. Carbs just feed the carb cravings anyway.0

I've been having a lot of calories left and snacking my way through them. It really hasn't done much for me to be honest so over the past couple of days, I've added 100 calories or so to each of my meals (with cheese or fruit or milk usually) I've also tried to structure my snacks a little bit better. I've definitely felt fuller and I'm netting 1200 so it seems to be working.0

I would go with something that has nutritional value. Chips have lots of fat (and most of it the "bad" fat) and no vitamins. Nuts, bread or celery with peanut butter, avocado, even ice cream, all have more nutrients. The cereal isn't a bad idea either.0

I havn't tried any protien shakes. Thats a good idea, I'll give it a try. It just seems like I have to eat constantly. And im hardly every hungry when I have to eat again. You have to eat ALOT of healthy food to make it add up! which is awesome I guess. Get tired of eating tho. Lol.0

Try some almonds. They'll help you reach your calorie goal and they have a good bit of protein, fiber, and good fats.0
