Sick in Bed for Two Weeks, How do I get back on track?

I have had, among other things, a bout with bronchitis. So, the past two weeks have left me with little energy and, for the most part, bed-ridden. I am building up my appetite again, but don't even know where to start with activity. I have been doing some light stretches but don't know if I should even think about running for at least another two weeks. What is your suggestion?

Some additional background:

Before I got sick, I got in shape a little bit by completing level one of Jillian's 30DS. I have quit 30DS for now, per my doctor's suggestion that I go light on the exercise for a bit.

I was also working on c25k, and found week one to be pretty easy. I had been running bits 'n' pieces around the track a little before that, but found it tough doing it my way. I want to get back into c25k.

Thanks for your input! :flowerforyou:

I feel your pain! I have been having multiple spinal taps in the last 2 weeks which have caused severe headaches. Before the taps I was hitting the gym daily, and now I am not able to, I am not even able to go to work :( . Because I can not go to the gym I am trying to eat the best I can in order to not go over calories and gain weight. I am hoping to get back into the gym sometime this week. Just keep thinking about the journey and you will get back on the wagon and it will keep you motivated!

stretch and rotate all of your joints, one at a time. eat light and find your center.
strength returns with confidence. you are strong now.
