for passing out I buy the candy I don't like.. I buy the stuff I like on Nov 1st when it's 50% or less and have a stack of treats that WILL last me 3 to 6 months :)

I pass out whatever my kids tell me is popular. Candy isn't an issue for me. Never much cared about sweet. Now, salty on the other hand..... chips and peanuts.... Ack!

In the past, I buy stuff I like and leave my favorite bag (Reese's PB Cups) for the end, just in case there's any left. lol But this year, I bought sour patch kids and other stuff I don't like.

Good candy... Usually miniature candy bars...I make up goody bags, usually 2 or 3 candy bars and this year pixie sticks and. Suckers too !!! LOL... I also put in a " Chick tract ", miniature Christian "comic books" on salvation... I make up 2 different age appropriate sets... One set is for younger kids with age appropriate candy and chick tracts, the other for Tweens and older kids... With chick tracks for their ages...( Christian artist and author is Jack Chick, www.chicktracts.com )... I love to spread the Gospel on this pagan holiday ... blessings...
