Just got my shipment today and they are my new favorite thing!!!

I prepared them correctly with lots of garlic, spinach, and some chicken sauteed.

So filling! I am officially hooked. My entire dinner was 250 calories!!!!

mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Are they like the Shirataki Noodles? I just bought my first pack and I am a little scared to try and use them.

yes they are some kind of shirataki noodles...although I have heard that the actual "miracle noodles" are better than the ones you find in the store? I don't know though.

    miraclenoodles.com

They can be used as a substitute for pasta because they have zero calories and zero carbs per serving. Also, they have 2.5 grams of fiber per serving.

I just made sure I rinsed them realllllyyy well and then threw them in a wok to dry them a bit. With the amount of miracles noodles I just ate for dinner I probably would have consumed 400 calories in regular pasta. Serving size vs pasta serving size...

I don't know. Some people didn't like them but I thought they were awesome for not having any calories and upping my fiber intake for the day.

I just saw that miracle noodles in a banner ad above this blog...wow? I think they are the shirataki noodles - and aren't they tofu?

There are different types some of which contain tofu. The kind I ordered are not made with tofu just some japanese veggie root I think...something yam? Basically they are made of fiber.

They don't taste exactly like pasta or anything but they aren't starchy and have no calories.

You just have to season them up and they absorb any sauce flavor. I want to get some shrimp and make a shrimp stir fry tomorrow night. Snow peas and other stir fry veggies yummmm...

Also I am so lazy when I get home from work. These noodles are actually EASIER and faster to prepare than regular pasta. I am so impatient sometimes waiting for the water to boil :grumble:

haha I know, I know, how lazy am I?

I read about them, but wondered what they would taste like. I think a chiropractor near us sells them. Maybe i'll give them a go.
