171 Calorie Chicken Wrap

I've been looking for better choices for 'lazy meals' when I don't feel like cooking. Since I usually have a lot of cooked chicken on hand which I prepare once a week for salads, seasoned liberally with Kirkland Sweet Mesquite Seasoning, and I've also recently fallen in love with Togo's wraps (but not the calories!) I made my own today:

4 Roma Tomato's, diced.
2 Green Onions, diced.
2 tbs. Low-Fat Mayo
1 tsp. Italian Seasoning (a mix I found at wal-mart, thyme, oregano, maybe more)
Fresh ground pepper.

Mix them all up and let it sit. I estimate that I could make 6 wraps with the filling, at 36 calories per serving.
Plus a low carb, high fiber large whole wheat tortilla (La Tortilla Factory) and 2 oz. of chicken breast brings it to a total of 171 calories for a delicious wrap. In fact, I'm going to make a second one right now! :-)

EDIT: Also I put some lettuce in there too, which I don't even bother counting calories for.

I'm always on the lookout for lazy meals as you call it after a long day at work. This sounds like a keeper. Thanks for sharing.

Sounds delicious. I can't eat tomatoes, so I will skip them, maybe I will add some avocado. That will up the calorie count a bit, but we all know I love avocado.

That sounds really good, I will have to try it your way this week.

I do something very similar but substitute balsamic vinegar for the mayo and use lettuce leaves instead of the tortillas

Depending on the Hot Dog bun used...

You can also get the 94% fat free beef hot dogs (forgot the brand) that are only 40 calories. Pickles/Mustard add 0 calories so it would just be

    40 Cal Hot Dog
    20~ Cal Ketchup
    100~ Cal Bun
    160~ Cal Hot Dog

    mmmmm I love these.
