Work in a Doctor's office with patients bringing in treats?

I do. The ophthalmologist I work for is loved by the community and around this time of year patients and other doctors send us sweets.
Last year we got many boxes of cookies, an enormous box of godiva chocolates and I personally received 3 boxes of See's candy.
I plan on eating a few chocolates (I mean, come on it's SEE'S CANDY) but I plan on tracking every calorie I eat and staying within plan.
I also plan on bringing a lot of the stuff home to my roommate (who never gains weight no matter how much he eats) and my girlfriend's roommate (who will appreciate the kindness).
So, if you work for a doctor's office or in a setting much like mine, post here. I would love to hear your ideas about "disposing" these treats and would love your support.

I did that the other day when some eyeglass reps brought in cinnamon buns. I threw them away when everyone left. The only one who would eat them was the doctor and he had left town.0

I think you could wrap up boxed chocolates and pawn them off for holiday gifts! When you get home, wrap it right away! If you need a quick gift there you go!0

I work for a police department and let me tell you people are generous this time of year! If it's not citizens, it's our own bringing in homebaked items and what not. We have one employee who every year makes us a bag of chocolate candy treats for the major holidays. Most end up in the kitchen which I have direct contact with since it's so close to dispatch. Right now there are cupcakes and candy sitting in there.
I say no, not worth it and I grab my apple and walk back to dispatch lol One of the other dispatcher's and I love this, says "I've tasted it before, I know what it tastes like and It will only keep me from my goal". Since I work with 13 hungry officer's I don't worry about where it will go, because it won't be going anywhere near me!0 -
I heard a rule on here I like...if you know you can have the treat sometime later (example, a generic brownie, an ice cream sandwich), put it off if you can. If it's one time only (pumpkin pie on Thanksgiving, etc) eat it and enjoy it!0
