3 lbs hamburger
1/2 c. ketchup
1/4 c. mustard
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. onion powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. meat tenderizer
1/2 tsp. paprika
4 generous dashes of frank's hot sauce
3 eggs
1 package Saltine Crackers, crushed
deli deluxe American cheese slices
toast or hamburger buns

Mix together well everything but cheese slices and bread. Patty up hamburgers to your liking and fry with lid on pan. Reduce heat when hamburgers are done and add cheese slices on top of hamburgers.

Replace lid until cheese is well melted. Drain on paper towel and serve on toast or buns.

We do this using my grandfather's meatloaf recipe - I have a dedicated large cupcake pan specifically for making individual meatloaves... one is PERFECT for a sandwich!

The recipe with out cheese & bun, for 9 servings, Cal. 316, carbs 13, fat 14, protein 34, fiber 0, sodium 403.

I put this recipe in MFP recipes. Hope this helps. Not as bad as I thought it would be.:flowerforyou: :drinker:

I would ditch the ketchup, crackers...

I would use in place, tomato sauce, worcestershire sauce.. much less sugar and carbs

Then I would consider whole wheat breadcrumbs or panko crumbs for a healthier version.

This overall though is not a bad recipe...
