Cereal for dinner

Every night before bed I sabotage my day's efforts by digging hand first into the cereal box. I tell myself I'll regret it, and I always do, but in the moment it seems ok. I decided that tonight I'll have cereal for dinner so that I satisfy my craving, but without the additional calories. I'm hoping I can break the cereal at night habit slowly but surely. What do you think about doing this?

I know what you mean...I am a cereal-a-holic! I TRY to resist at night by saying in a few hours I can have more for breakfast, and normally that works by keeping my mind off of it. I love cereal haha, way too much!

Dont give up what you want the MOST for what you want this moment. This encourages you to make better choices and weigh your options and to be MINDFUL of your choices & consequences.

If this doesn't work, try some HIGH fiber cereal like Fiber One! That will break the cereal habit slowly but surely!

Fiber One or F-Factor brand are good options if going the cereal route...can never have too much fiber...but have to drink LOTS of water.

I much prefer having my big meal at noon and then having a bowl of cereal for dinner.

Is this your dinner, or your "before bed snack"? If cereal is your dinner, just factor the rest of the day's calories around that. Cereal can be healthy, and not bad at all if that's all you eat as a meal.
