Hello Everyone,
My name is Kiisha. I'm currently 18, current weight 226 pounds. I started MFP weighing 245, and I can most definitely see a different in myself. I am beginning to feel comfortable as I lose weight. My goal weight is about 160-145 pounds, But I also want to get to where I feel more comfortable at.
I was introduced to this site by a friend at the beginning of the year, but couldn't make an account yet because of my age. Now that I have been on MFP for a while, I have came across some great motivation. I am so excited that I joined this site.
I am also doing an 8 Week Personal Challenge. Currently on Week number 2. Just trying to get on track and focus on some things.
Through out my journey, I found that it is best to lose weight for yourself, no one else. I also learned that you are going to lose friends along the way.
I am losing weight because I want to improve my health, feel more comfortable with my body. I mean, When summer 2012, I want to actually be able to feel more comfortable in a swimsuit. Goal: I at least want to get a two piece swim suit. I want to look gorgeous. I am also going to be working on a 5k. I really want to run it.

Hi Kiisha,
Congrats on your weight loss and turning18!! Keep up the good work. You have a lot of things to look forward to. It is great that you are getting in control of your weight now before you get older and that metabolism slows down. It can sometimes be a struggle but keep at it. By summer of 2012, you will be in that swimsuit and shopping at the stores with the cute clothes. You will not believe how much better you are going to feel when you can walk into any clothing store and try on anything because you are an average size. Keep your eye on the prize!!!!!0 -
Great job! Keep up the good work and you will get to where you want to be! I lost 10 pounds before joining this site and I joined about 2 wks ago and have lost 2.4 pounds my first week I weigh in tomorrow and hoping I have lost more. I'm doing the Lose 20 Pounds by Christmas challenge and I am positive that I will achieve that goal. There are a lot of friendly people on this site. Good luck to you on your weightloss journey!0
