shower door runners

Anyone that has a shower (the kind with doors obvi) knows how much of a ***** it is to clean the runners out. Well today is cleaning day and I don't have my usual little scrubby brush that I use to get in those little things. What else can I use? Cleaning rags never work because they just push the gunk around.
