So my plan is to ride home tonight, get about 100 miles this weekend and then ride to work Monday for just over 600 miles for October. My plans haven't been going so well this month however. And it's getting cold in the morning...time to dig out the knee warmers.0

So my plan is to ride home tonight, get about 100 miles this weekend and then ride to work Monday for just over 600 miles for October. My plans haven't been going so well this month however. And it's getting cold in the morning...time to dig out the knee warmers.

Rode 19 miles today, giving me 3004 miles so far this year. 529 miles in October. 265 hours of riding, and about 1760 donuts burned. I'm never going to be able to eat back all those donuts.0

We had a beautiful weekend here in SoCal so I was able to get around 120 miles . With my commute to work tomorrow I should be around 622 for October.0

359.79 Total Miles for Oct.
Might get in a 20 miles today.
But good month considering the rain, late sun rise and early sun set.
Oyea and 40 degree weather.
But learning how to dress for cold.
It is a life style change, now get on with your life.

Layers, layers, layers. I have my own rule of thumb...In the 40's, I wear 4 layers. Then I inversely add or subtract a layer depending on the temperature. So if it drops to the thirties, I do 5 layers, if it goes up to the 50's, I do three layers, 60's is two layers. It's an easy way to get dressed in the morning. And anyting below 50 I wear knee warmers, a hat that covers my ears, and good winter gloves.0 -
