Hi All!
Just checking out MFP for the first time! This is my 1000th time trying to lose weight but I really need to do something this time. I've lost weight before and I know what I need to do but I really enjoy food and drinks a lot.
We'll see what happens. Day one...so far...so good.

Welcome - and you'll find a lot of support, good info, new techniques, etc. Diet is a negative word. It stresses you, makes you anxious, and ... it has an "end". As if once you get "there", you're all done. Except the lbs always come back - and bring friends.
This isn't dieting - it's a life change. It's a positive. It will stress you when you live in the land of "later" or "what if...". Stay in the now. You are making choices every day, every hour, every minute. We're not on a desert island - we DO have choices. When you really want that junk food - or your craving whatever it is that you want to cut from your life - tell yourself you CHOSE to have a lean and healthy body - because you deserve it. For now - you're chosing not to eat "X" food. We're all 1 bite away from a lardy life - and you take the power back! You can do it!Judy

Just ended my first week and feeling GREAT! I've had a ton of positive feedback on here and it REALLY is a boost to stay with it! Feel free to add me as well! The more the better when it come to a support system
