So i have been thinking about it today and no matter how much i try my thigh's always seem to be very chunky. I can tone all other parts of my body except them.
Anyone have any suggestions exercise or eating wise to help out?

I don't have any suggestions but I'm eager to hear others! My thighs are huge and it really upsets me because I can't wear dresses or skirts or even normal pants or my thighs rub to together and form sweat rashes!! Only thing I can wear is skin tight 10% spandex pants.

I will tell u what has been working for me. I have been using the stationary bike at the gym and I lost 4 inches so far off my thunder thighs :) As far as diet the only fat burning food I know off the top of my head is grapefruit juice. I am still testing that one LOL Have a good and healthy day:flowerforyou:

Years ago there was a book called 'thin thighs in 30 days' and it had some pretty intense thigh exercises..I bet you could find it used for super cheap! good luck on the hunt.
  • Well, if you read Louise Hay and believe her work, heavy thighs are because that's where we carry and store our childhood resentments.

You can't spot reduce fat off a certain body part. You can however keep up general fat burning with a calorie deficit and cardio. Some people lose weight off their legs first, for some it's the last place, you just have to wait and see.

There are several exercises out there that work your leg muscles though, such as squats, lunges etc. This will help maintain you maintain the muscle you have there when you lose weight and should give you some nice definition when the fat has been reduced, making your legs look more toned instead of just thinner.

    I agree with Heidi

I agree with Heidi but would also add that squats, lunges and most other lower body exercises involve more muscles so burn more calories. I've heard that the Butt Bible dvd is also very good and will give your legs and butt amazing definition once you've melted off the fat covering muscles. Unfortunately for me, I've lost 14 lbs (with 7 lbs to go) but only a fraction of that has come off my lower body, I'm hoping that last 7 lbs comes off my thighs otherwise I'll just have to accept that this is the body/shape God has given me!

My thighs are my problem area too! I am going to try "killer buns and thighs" tonight, hope it helps a bit!
