Totally agree! The weight falls off so much easier as well. I won't lie it is hard at times to prepare fresh foods everyday so I prep as much as I can on Sunday so I can just grab during the week. Usually by Thursday I have to prep a little more. Just start switching over slowly so you don't feel so overwhelmed! Good Luck!!

Here's a great book if you're interested in reading. I've learned so much!

"Eating Well For Optimum Health" by Andrew Weil, M.D.

:flowerforyou: We were designed to eat "whole foods" as God had created them to be received with Thanksgiving... oh, I feel so much better when I eat that way. All this processed stuff is harsh on the body. Have a great day everyone!

My Nutricianist says that if you can visualize the ingredients of a prepared food in their natural state, then it can be considered a whole food.
Example: Ak-Mak crackers; Whole wheat flour stone ground (I have been to a grist mill, this is a real food), clover honey (I have stepped on a bees nest....:noway: Real), sesame oil, dairy butter (I have made this-Real), Sesame seeds, yeast and salt. REAL FOOD! :drinker:

Some ingredients like Soy lecithin....what is a lecithin. and Dipotassium phosphate....I think I can visualize a tree....NOT!

It is still new to me. but that is the rule I have been using.
