Do You Use Milk In Your Protien Shakes?

Options
If so what kind (non fat dairy, almond, soy...) and why?

I have been making mine at home with a blender and using plain Greek yogurt. I am going to start making some at work with a shaker, and I think I will add milk to improve taste / consistency.

I am predicting a 30/70 ratio of serious to innuendo replies :glasses:

I always use fat free milk. Sometimes I don't use milk and just use water. It depends.

Unsweetened Almond Milk -- sometimes Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Milk

Reason: no sugar, no soy, no hormones

I used to only mix my protein shakes with water ... but when I get back on P90X I will be mixing them with milk, because I can afford the calories and I hear milk is good for teh muscles.

What is a good protein shake mix, to use for meal replacement shakes? Or is that the proper shake mix to use?

I use skim milk in mine. My morning shake is natural PB, ice, chocolate protein powder, and a banana. If I didn't add the milk, the consistency would be sludge-like. I'm not sure my blender would even blend it.
