I can't say I understand how eating more will produce a better weight loss, but I am sold on the Idea. I ate all my calories for the day, excluding my exercise calories and my sneak peek showed a 4 pound loss. It baffles my mind that I ate 1/3 more food (even some sweets) and backed off at the gym and lost more weight then previous weeks.

I am now only 2 kilos off my goal weight and the best week that I have had recently was one where I ate all of my exercise cals back.
I did work out five times that week but it was definitely the best since I have gotten so close to the weight I want to be.0 -

I got STUCK losing weight and was really frustrated. Then I realized I'd thrown my body into conserve mode by eating 1200 calories/day and working off about 300. My body was DONE giving up extra fat, because it thought it was on the verge of hitting starvation mode! So I upped my caloric intake and relaxed a bit on the working out. FINALLY the weight started to come off again. It's finding that balance that your body needs to burn fat that's the trick!0

Most of the time, the extra food will signal your body to release water. (The fat loss has already occurred, but you are holding onto water weight). Its speculated to have something to do with electrolyte balance, and hormone levels.0
