So I have been at this for a little over 2 weeks, and I realize now that I usually average 70-100g of sugar a day!

How much is TOO much? How much would you say you personally average out on?

I'd try to cut that in half if most of it isnt coming from natural sources like fruit.

Yeahhh it isnt...although I find if I keep within my calorie limit I still am losing weight. I just know it isnt that healthy.
  • I "think" if you are still losing weight then your good.
  • You need to take in a certain amount of carbohydrate per day in order to make sure the body doesn't start using other fuel sources (especially protein stores). Otherwise you'll go into ketosis which can lead to negative body effects. You need around 130g of carbohydrate per day AT LEAST in order to make sure your body doesn't go into ketosis. But you should be getting a variety of carbohydrate sources, fibre most importantly should be around 25g per day for women which many people in North America are well below.
