What is the best thing to eat after a workout?

    try to eat protien 2 hrs before and more protien 2hrs after. if you have had an extra hard workout and feel like you are fading then have a protien shake made on skim milk or water. don't go for the colorie laden energy drinks! don't forget to drink heaps post workout, sometimes thirst can be mistaken for hunger.

    I usually have some Greek yogurt (sometimes with some protein powder mixed in) for the protein to aid muscle recovery :)

    0% greek yoghurt with some nuts (about 20-30g of mixed, unsalted nuts - almonds and walnuts particularly good). I like mine with a drizzle of honey as well and some berries if I have them.

    Skimmed milk and a banana.

    Chicken or turkey breast

    Before I eat greek yogurt.

    After a protein shake made with one scoop of powder and 8 oz vanilla soy milk.

    Chocolate milk is tasty and cheap. It works pretty well.
