I DID IT!

Options
I posted a few days ago about my fear of getting a gym membership, because I felt self conscious about being around so many fit people.

Well, I did it... I got my membership. Today was my first day there, and it wasn't nearly as traumatic as I thought it would be! I did 25 minutes on a treadmill, and 20 on an elliptical. Not so bad for my first time EVER in a gym.

Ask one of the employees to show you around and all the machines. BIG help!

I went through the same thing before I joined my gym and my group fitness center. SO glad we got over it! Congratulations!

    WOOHOO!!
Don't worry about all those other people, they were once in your shoes too.
Just do you and rock it. Pretend you're a pro hahaha
(if they have an Arc Machine I would highly recommend giving that a try)

The Arc Machine is the elliptical trainer I used!! I LOVED it, I'm hoping to build up my stamina to be able to do it longer, I worked up a good sweat on it! I jumped on a regular elliptical first, and I do NOT have the strength in my thighs to do it yet! The Arc Machine is definitely my new favorite -- way better than the stationary bike in my living room that I've been using for the past year!

I love the fat burner and interval training settings. The interval is kinda rough :)
