My absolute favorite is Nu-Tek's Pro5

    145 calories
    1gm Fat
    2gm Carb
    32gm PROTIEN!

It comes in a bunch of flavors and mixes very easily. I have it twice a day. It's very tasty for a protiein shake.

    Dymatize ISO-100

    Nature's Best Perfect Isopure

0 carbs, most protein powders are pretty low carb though

why does it have to be low carb?
  • I've been using Optimum Nutrition Whey Gold Standard - their milk chocolate is low carb enough for me (2-3 grams) and tastes pretty good in almond milk.

    bump :)

If the OP is anything like me, her diet may be high in carbs but low in protein. Mine is that way, especially now that I'm starting strength training and trying to get more protein into my diet.

I use MRM Rich Vanilla. 87 calories, 1.5 carb and 18 g protein and sweetened with Stevia. They have Dutch Chocolate too but we like the vanilla better. It blends really well with the fruits I put in my green smoothies. I'm not the OP but I like a low carb protein powder because I like my carbs to come from fruits and vegetables instead of any sugars that might be in the powder.

I second the Dymatize Iso-10 suggestion. Check out Dymatize Elite Whey too. I think the carbs are really low on it as well.

I have been staying away from too many processed carbs lately - no rice, pasta, or breads - been feeling pretty good and never hungry - hardest thing to do is not eat potato's but I plan to re-introduce them slowly as I begin working our harder.

I switched to the Dymatize Elite, because it doesn't have any sucralose, like the Iso one. Low carb, high protein. Check out netrition.com for good prices on protein powders and other goodies.

Dymatize elite is good and comes in lots of flavors.
