What would you do with the last 10 pounds?

Let's say you are 10 lbs from your goal. Do you:
a) go hardcore for 2 weeks (maybe less?) eating very little "fun" food to try and get 'em off
b) go the slow and steady route?

I always try for B but it has never worked out. Part of me is thinking to do A, get all gung ho, get to my goal weight and then be more balanced.

What do you think?

I can enlist at around 135 so my last 15 lbs. are purely vanity/elective weight loss. I am not in any rush but I intend to focus on nutrition and fitness so I can compete in a body competition. Seriously. Sometime in the next 3 years (by the time I'm 30). So that's a pretty relaxed goal as far as timeline goes. But extremely ambitious for someone who was once 235.

I am doing plan B. But that isn't going well maybe I should try plan A
  • Slow and Steady. If you think it doesn't usually work out for you, try tweaking your routine a little bit. Up your level of exercise or decrease your calorie intake by 100 (unless you're already taking in only 1200/day). Maybe that will give you the boost you need! Good luck with your last 10lbs!

Great work so far Peanutmanda! I may do the same. For some reason I can always lose weight around the holidays (what??) maybe b/c I'm off of work, etc. I really just want to bang it out and be done by the start of 2012!

How'd you reduce your body fat by so much??
